Live-aboard Sitka Blacktail Deer Hunting

Stan Duncan is your Coast Guard approved skipper and licensed transporter. He has been a resident of Kodiak Island for forty years. He has hunted since he was 14 and has been a commercial salmon fisherman for nearly thirty years. Stan's knowledge of the woods and experience on the sea promises you a safe and adventurous hunt. With the 41-foot F/V Sea Walker as a base camp, Stan is able to offer your group tremendous mobility, allowing you to go where the weather and the hunting are optimum.

Comfort is not sacrificed, either!! The main cabin of the F/V Sea Walker houses the captain's quarters, along with a galley that includes a stove, sink and dining area, and an enclosed toilet. Additional living quarters are added to the deck of the boat for hunting season, offering four comfortable bunks so that you and up to three of your buddies will have plenty of room for sleeping and gear.

There will be only eight hunts available
from October 1st - December 1st.

2007 Rates: $7500 per hunt

Each hunting/fishing charter may be shared by up to four sportsmen

Your one week hunt is reserved upon our receipt of your deposit (50%), balance due 90 days prior to your arrival date. Wild & Free, LLC is not liable for expenses incurred by weather delays. It Gets Even Better

For the ultimate Alaskan adventure, try our Sportsman's Combo and add some Steelhead fishing to your Sitka Blacktail deer hunting trip!! After obtaining the appropriate free permits, you will be able to take an un-guided 45-minute hike across incredible tundra to a river where you can experience some of the world's best fly fishing for Steelhead!! You may have to share the river with a few Kodiak brown bears, but there are plenty of fish for everybody!
