World-class
fishing may be
found in the waters surrounding Kodiak Island. In fact, there was a 196
lb.
halibut caught just a stone's throw off our beach last summer!! King
Salmon swim past our lodge from May through September. Pink Salmon
("Humpies") start swimming along Kodiak's coastline in mid- to late
July, and you can catch Rainbow Trout & Dolly Varden in some of
our local rivers from early summer into the fall. Coho (Silver Salmon)
are abundant from early August till early September.
Call us to arrange your own Alaskan fishing adventure! But be
forewarned, this could be addicting!
